You know how most people collect stuff? Like stamps or coins and such? Yeah, I collect piggy banks and since yesterday, I am the proud owner of exactly !39! piggy banks… 

I was kind off shocked, because I was not aware of the fact that I had soooo many! The collection started out as a joke, but I am beginning to wonder if it is getting out of hand ;)

The beauty is, every Piggy Bank has its own story behind it, its own history. When I started the collection, I made this rule for myself that I was not allowed to buy one of my own money. In other words, I have been given 39 piggy banks by friends and family in the cousre of three years. How freaking AWESOME is that? 

Most of them are from The Netherlands (where I live) but some are from foreign countries, and I have to say that those are my favourites because that means that, even when people where abroad, they thought of me :) 

I am playing with the idea to upload a picture a day of a piggy bank with its own story… Probabely gonna do it
